Maine's community colleges offer an array of services to help businesses build and support a highly-skilled workforce.

Customized Training and Professional Development Courses — The Business and Industry Divisions of our seven colleges design and deliver customized training for businesses in virtually any industry, on nearly any topic: from basic skills and workforce literacy to management and supervisory skills, communication and team building, and specific occupational training. Your business can choose from existing credit and non-credit courses, or we’ll tailor a course or training program to meet your company's specific needs.

Maine Quality Centers program Is your business expanding? Are you considering locating your firm in Maine? If so, you may qualify for a special grant through the Maine Quality Centers program, which funds customized training for businesses creating new jobs in Maine. The training is coordinated and delivered through our seven community colleges, at no cost to the employer or trainees.

Nearly 200 businesses have expanded in Maine with help from the
Maine Quality Centers — representing over 10,000 new jobs
and $1.7 billion in related private investment in Maine.

Center for Career Development — The MCCS Center for Career Development conducts industry workforce analyses and develops curriculum for business and industry, government, and education. Its services include workforce needs surveys, industry-wide training modules, and other workforce and curriculum development tools.
