All seven of Maine's community colleges offer customized training for business and industry, on-site consultation, professional development courses, and—in partnership with the Maine's Quality Centers program —training grants for new and expanding businesses.

Maine Quality Centers — no cost training for expanding companies
Our Maine Quality Centers program has helped over 200 businesses expand or locate their operations in Maine. With training coordinated and delivered through our seven community colleges, we provide customized training at no cost to qualified businesses that are creating new jobs in Maine. We’ll consult with you to prepare a training plan, deliver the training when and where you need it, and assist with recruitment and screening services.
Continuing Education courses and workshops for employees — Each community college offers an array of credit and non-credit courses that can benefit employees — and employers. These courses cover everything from computer software applications and professional development topics to occupational fields. If we don't offer what you're looking for, we may be able to tailor a course for you. To facilitate your search, contact the business and industry training staff at any one of our colleges. They'll provide you with a current course listing and discuss your needs.
