Community College Graduates to be Honored at Ceremonies this Weekend

AUGUSTA, MaineA total of 2,027 college students will graduate from Maine's seven Community Colleges at commencement ceremonies around the state this weekend.
Speakers at this year’s commencement exercises, as well as the times and dates, are as follows (locations are on campus unless otherwise noted):
Friday, May 13
Central Maine Community College, Auburn, 2 pm (355 graduates)
Speaker: Hon. John E. Baldacci, Governor of Maine
Washington County Community College, Calais, 11 am (180 graduates)
Speaker: Hon. Kevin Raye, Maine State Senate
Location: Calais High School
Saturday, May 14
Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor, Two ceremonies: 9:30 am and 1 pm (300 graduates)
Speakers: 9:30 am: Dr. John Fitzsimmons, President, Maine Community College System; 1 pm: Hon. John E. Baldacci, Governor of Maine
Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, 10 am (225 graduates)
Speaker: Nick Bayne, President/CEO, Maine & Maritimes Corporation
York County Community College, Wells, 1 pm (80 graduates)
Speaker: Joel Stevens, President/CEO, Kennebunk Savings Bank
Sunday, May 15
Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield, 2 pm (387 graduates)

Southern Maine Community College, South Portland, 12 pm (500 graduates)
