Community Colleges System Board of Trustees to Meet at EMCC in Bangor

AUGUSTA, Maine — A regularly-scheduled meeting of the Maine Community College System Board of Trustees will be held next Wednesday, September 24th, at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be held in Rangeley Hall, Room 501A.

As is practice at the first meeting of a new academic year, the presidents of the seven Community Colleges will each present a fall update to the Board. The Board has also invited the former president of Southern Maine Community College, Wayne H. Ross, to the meeting, to recognize him for his years of service at SMCC. Ross retired last year after presiding at the college for 23 years.
