“It was my time to go to school. This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I am very passionate about it. I decided it was just time to go. So I did it. Here I am and I love it.”
After starting a family and moving back to Maine Whitney Kneeland decided it was finally her time to go to college. With financial aid she says will graduate with no college debt. She says her studies at WCCC are preparing her well for her future career and she is optimistic about her job prospects. When she graduates from WCCC in 2020 with her degree in medical assisting, Whitney plans to continue her education to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her goal is to work as an RN in the field of geriatrics.
