After Verso, Bucksport millworkers find second act in the kitchen

Tony Gomme, 53, of Orrington worked at the Bucksport mill since 1984. When it closed he leapt at the opportunity to pursue his lifelong passion for cooking and is enrolled at EMCC. He said said, “There is life after the mill. Of course, I’m sad I lost my job, but I’m still young enough to pursue the career I always wanted. This really kind of gave me my youth back.” Read more»
