Community College graduates to be honored at ceremonies in May

AUGUSTA, Maine – Over 3,000 college students are scheduled to graduate from Maine’s seven community colleges at commencement exercises around the state this month.

Speakers at this year’s commencement exercises, as well as the times, dates, and locations are as follows:

Thursday, May 12

Central Maine Community College, Auburn, 6 pm
Speaker: Dr. Danielle N. Ripich, President, University of New England
Location: Androscoggin Bank Colisée, Lewiston

Friday, May 13

Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor, 6 pm
Speaker: U.S. Senator Susan Collins
Location: Cross Insurance Center, Bangor

Washington County Community College, Calais, 11 am
Speaker: Maine Representative Joyce Maker
Location: Calais High School

Saturday, May 14

Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, 1 pm
Speaker: U.S. Congressman Bruce Poliquin
Location: The Forum, Presque Isle

York County Community College, Wells, 10 am
Speaker: Donato J. Tramuto, CEO/President of Healthways, Inc.

Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield/Hinckley, 10 am
