Pratt & Whitney employees complete apprenticeship program

WELLS, Maine – York County Community College (YCCC) and Pratt & Whitney are pleased to announce that 14 Pratt & Whitney employees have completed the Apprenticeship Program and graduated from YCCC on May 13 with an associate’s degree in Trade & Technical Occupations. YCCC is a member of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Registered Apprenticeship College Consortium (RACC) and this is the first cohort to complete this unique Apprenticeship Program. Graduates completed 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, along with non-credit training and college credit courses offered through YCCC.
