Apprenticeships
In collaboration with the Maine Apprenticeship Program (MAP), the Center can work with your company to establish a registered apprenticeship program. Occupational training for rural Mainers in occupations which are in-demand in Maine and can be done remotely. Occupations include medical office occupations, Medical Coding, IT support and virtual assistant. Training is grant-funded and free for students. Our Workforce Development Coordinators work directly with our college workforce teams to support trainees and employers in the navigation of short-term training programs, customized training, and supporting Compact registrations.
