Katahdin has served as a SkilledUSA National Officer, a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Regional and EMCC Chapter Officer, an EMCC Student Ambassador, a member of EMCC’s Student Senate and is a recipient of the 2022-23 Leon A. Gorman Scholarship. He was also named to the All-Maine Academic Team and was one of only 50 students nationwide named a Coca-Cola Academic Team Gold Scholar. He graduated from EMCC’s business management program and continued his education at the University of Maine.
