Lauren has never been one to enjoy the confines of a classroom. A student in the mechanized logging operations program NMCC, she thrives outside a traditional office environment. As a hands-on learner, Lauren valued the daily practical experience she gained in the program, from maintaining equipment to learning to operate seven pieces of machinery. The program, offered free of charge, equipped her with indispensable skills. Lauren also got her commercial drivers license.
