Opportunity Maine Tax Credit

Introduction

The Opportunity Maine program offers a tax credit to help cover the payment of student loans for eligible Maine students who work and pay taxes in the state after they finish school.

This section of the MCCS website is designed to provide students at all of Maine’s community colleges with the information needed to enroll in the Opportunity Maine program and to claim their tax credit.
