Osher Scholarship

Apply now and you may be eligible to receive two courses tuition-free: a value of $492

At Maine's Community Colleges, we're committed to giving Maine people an affordable option for college. And now, thanks to a generous gift from The Bernard Osher Foundation, we've just made the lowest tuition in Maine even lower.

Apply to our Associate in Arts in liberal/general studies program now and you may be eligible to receive two core courses tuition-free. That's a savings of $492 for the 2008-09 academic year. Ask about the scholarship when you apply for the program at your community college.

You may be eligible if you:

are a Maine resident;
are not currently enrolled in a program at any college or university;
have accumulated no more than 24 college credits: and
qualify for and are accepted into the Associate in Arts in liberal/general studies program.

NOTE: Scholarship recipients are responsible for fees and books. The Osher Scholarship cannot be combined with other community college tuition waivers or employer reimbursement.
