Vassar’s Exploring Transfer
The Exploring Transfer (ET) program at Vassar College is designed for community college students interested in continuing their education at a competitive four-year college. Students who enroll in the summer program take college courses co-taught by a Vassar and a community college professor. Each accepted student receives a scholarship to the Exploring Transfer program that completely covers their tuition, room, meals and books.
Students of all ages who are the first in their family to attend college and those from under-represented groups and disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
The application process includes a personal essay, college transcripts, and two faculty evaluations.
MCCS students who are selected to participate can also receive a travel stipend.
